Select the PDF file that you want to add header then click 'Open' to upload it to PDFelement. Alternatively, you can go the drag and drop way to import the target PDF file to the program.
Now that the PDF file is uploaded to the PDFelement interface proceed to the toolbar and click the 'Edit' button. You should see several Edit submenus. Ignore other options and go to the 'Header and Footer' section. Click the 'Header & Footer' drop-down arrow and choose the 'Add Header & Footer'.
Upon clicking the 'Add Header & Footer' option, the program will automatically pop up the 'Header & Footer' window to allow you to define the header and footers. On this window, head to the bottom left and click the '+' tab, then go to the top left and type the desired header in the Header & Footer field. With the header now entered, go ahead to define the appearance of your header. You can choose the desired font style, font size, position, and page range. Once you are done with your selection, click the 'Save' button at the bottom of this same window.
After clicking the 'Save' button, you should have an icon with a ticket beside the '+' tab. This signifies that the header has been added to your PDF file. However, you need to click the 'Apply' button at the bottom right of the 'Add Header Footer' window to apply your header finally.
Now that the header is already added, you need to save your file to avoid the changes you have made being discarded. To save your PDF file, go to the 'File' menu then select the 'Save' button. Your file is now saved. If you close the document, the changes you made won to be discarded.
