3 Methods to Insert Signature in PDF Document:
Method 1. How to Insert Drawing Signature in PDF
In the first method, you need to draw your signature.
Step 1Open PDF File
Open PDFelement on your computer and click the "Open files" icon on the primary interface. Browse for the PDF file that you want to insert the signature. Select it and click "Open" to upload it to the PDFelement interface.
Step 2Create Signature
With the PDF now uploaded, proceed to the "Comment" section on the toolbar. From the Comment menu, click the signature icon on the far right. Upon clicking, the "Add Signature" window will pop up. Here, you have three options to add a signature to your PDF file. You can either draw, type, or upload a signature.
Step 3Insert signature to PDF
From the insert signature options, choose the "Draw" option. Select the signature drawing color at the bottom-left of this pop-up window and start drawing with your cursor. When you are drawn your desired signature, hit the "OK" button to insert your signature.
Step 4Save PDF File
Now that you have finished inserting the signature, you need to save the changes you have made to your PDF file. Go to the top of the window and click the "Save" icon. The changes you have made to your PDF file will now be saved.

Method 2. How to Insert Typing Signature in PDF
With this method, you have to type the signature.
Step 1Create signature
After uploading your PDF file, navigate to the toolbar and hit the "Comment" tab. From the options given, choose the "signature" icon on the far right. Now, the "Add Signature" window will be displayed.
Step 2Insert signature to PDF
On the "Add Signature" window, you should see three options. Ignore the other options and choose the "Type" option to allow you to type a signature. Again, select the desired signature color at the bottom left. Also, click the font type drop-down icon and choose the desired signature font. Now type your signature on the typing area provided, then click "OK" when you are done.
Step 3Save PDF File
Your PDF file will now contain the typed signature. To avoid discarding the signature when you close the program, just hit the "Save" icon at the top of the window. The changes you have made will now be saved.

Step 1Create signature
With the PDF file uploaded to PDFelement, go to the "Comment" section on the toolbar. From the options displayed below the "Comment" tab, choose the "Signature" icon. This icon is located at the far right. Upon clicking, the "Add Signature" window shall be displayed. Here are three options to add a signature to a PDF: draw, type, and upload.
Step 2Upload a image of signature
From the three signature options, choose the "Upload" option. This will open the file explorer window to allow you to upload the target signature. Choose the signature file and click "Open" to upload it. Once uploaded, click the "OK" button, and the signature will now appear on your PDF file.
Step 3Save PDF File
After adding the signature to your PDF file, you need to save the PDF file to save the changes that you have made. Go to the top of the PDFelement window and click the "Save" icon.
