How to Edit Text

iSkysoft PDF Editor 6 Professional provides you multiple PDF editing tools to edit text in PDF files easily. With the help of this PDF Editor, you can easily edit, add or change the text color and font size in PDF files. Please refer to the following guide.

1Edit Text in a PDF

Just by one click on the “Edit” button on the top toolbar you can easily edit the text content in your PDF files. Under this tab you can choose to edit PDF texts in “Line Mode” or “Paragraph mode”.

Click on the “Line Mode” on the top right corner under the “Edit” tap. Now you will find that the selected texts in the PDF file are targeted by lines. And then you can change the font size and color of the text content in a PDF file easily on the right side toolbar.

Edit Text in a PDF in “Paragraph Mode”
If you want to select an entire paragraph for further editing, please choose the “Paragraph Mode” option. Then the texts can be targeted by paragraphs. Now you can modify the text contents in a whole paragraph with ease.

Search for Words in a PDF File
Want to search for a keyword in a PDF document? With the help of iSkysoft PDF Editor 6 Professional you can quickly find the word you needed. To do this, press "Ctrl+ F" on your keyboard to open the "Find" window. Then you can enter the keyword you are searching for.

Replace Text in PDF
You can also replace the texts you‘ve found. Press "Ctrl+ F" to open the find window, enter the texts in the "Find" box and then click on the "Replace With" button to enter new text contents. Click on the "Replace" button to replace selected PDF texts to another.

2Add Text to a PDF

If you want to add text to the PDF file, you can click on the "Add Text" button under the "Edit" tab. You can also change the font style and size on the text editing panel on the right side of the main interface.

3Copy and Paste PDF Text

Sometimes you may need to copy and paste texts from a PDF file to a Word file or other file formats. iSkysoft PDF Editor 6 Professional provides you an easy way to achieve this goal. After you’ve opened the PDF file with this PDF editor, click on the “Select” button on the top left corner. Move the cursor to select the texts in PDF, right click on it and then you can choose the “Copy” option. Or you can press “Ctrl + C” button on the keyboard to copy and paste the selected texts from a PDF file directly.
