How to Easily Convert Scanned Image to Text

Here is how to extract text from scanned images. Just follow the steps that are explained below.
Step 1 Open Scanned Image
Open PDFelement and from the main menu, click on 'Open Files' and choose the scanned image you wish to extract the text from.
Step 2 Perform OCR
After the image is opened, it will show a prompt on the top of the file. Select 'Perform OCR' to start the optical character recognition process.
Step 3 Scan to Editable Text
After selecting the 'Perform OCR' option, a dialogue box will appear displaying some options and settings regarding the OCR operation. Select 'Scan to editable text and the number of pages from the file you wish to extract the text from. Then click on 'Apply' to start the Optical character recognition process.

Step 4 Edit PDF Text
After the OCR is performed, all the text from the images will be scanned and converted into editable text. Now you can edit the text, add or subtract it, add links of images in the files. Add watermarks or annotate on the file along with highlighting the text.

Step 5 Save PDF
After you have done your editing and are satisfied with the outcome, it is time to save your file. Navigate to the top left corner of the window, select 'File' and then click 'Save' to save the file in your device's internal storage. 'Ctrl+S' is also an alternative for saving a file.
